LOGO for NGO organisation Helping Peoples with Disability
Project task : a logo design for non-profit organization Domaci Andel (Angel at Home), which helps families and disabled clients. Service provided: support, physical help with everyday care, mentoring.
My intention was to show the relationship and closeness of the two main persons : volunteer and disable client. I was inspired by scenes/ fine art motives which show mother and child kept in her arm.
I wanted to make this similarity very readable. The relationship between a person with some disability or deficit and a helper (family member, volunteer) is similar to those closeness of mother and child. Care, devotion, support, intimacy… all those are condition very important at the moment, when our busy, independent life change into relation taker/giver. We start as a dependent child and at the end… the dependency is here again…
